Estée Lauder Double Wear Light Review.

Hey beauties,

Today’s blog, if you couldn’t tell by the title, is a review on Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I don’t own any foundation that’s high end and I still don’t! Sad times. Instead I went to the makeup counter in Boots and got colour matched and asked for a sample pot to try it out properly.

I tried it out the next day for work and my god! In love isn’t the word. I love how it’s full coverage and it’s quite a thick foundation. The colour is a perfect match for me, I got it in shade 1 which matches me perfectly, the only thing I’m not keen on is the smell as it smells like paint! Other than that you cannot fault it in any way!

I definitely want to get this foundation, it retails at £31.00 which is normal for a high end product. It literally lasts all day and looks the same as it when I applied it first thing in the morning which is definitely what you need and want.

I really would like to try some more high end foundations, I love seeing how the coverage is compared to drugstore and the wear of them.

What is your favourite high end foundation? Let me know in the comments below guys and I’ll try them out!!

Thanks so much for reading and I’ll speak to you all soon ♥

  1. My favourite high end foundation is definitely the Estee Lauder Double Wear (not the light). The coverage is amazing since I get awful hormonal acne, I mix it with moisturiser on days I don’t need so much coverage. I thought it was really expensive at first but I’ve had my current bottle for more than a year and I’m only halfway through it- and the shade matching service they do at the counter is amazing!
