Trying out L’Oreal Infaillible Foundation & Concealer.

I know what your thinking, ‘She’s done it again’… Well yes I did and I’m not mad about it haha.

I love trying out new things and I know this isn’t that new on the market but I’m nearly out of my current foundation so was on the prowl for something that wasn’t too expensive but something that I’ve heard is quite good. It was on offer in Boots at the moment aswell, 2 for £14 which is quite good considering the Infaillible 24hr Fresh Wear Foundation retails at £10.99 and the Infaillible More Than Concealer retails at £9.99 which would work out just over £20! Who doesn’t love a good deal! So I picked them both up to try them out.

Lets talk about the foundation first. The packaging is simple but classy. I like the red lid with the black and the black and white writing aswell, the actual bottle feels like glass aswell which I like. I purchased this in the shade Vanilla Rose and its a full coverage foundation which I really like. It claims to be transfer-proof and water-proof. Its has new oxygen technology which gives it a lightweight feel whilst its ultra-stretchable formula makes sure a little goes a long way and still be full coverage all over.

Another great thing about this product is that its available in 26 shades! L’Oreal really go hard on there products to make sure they cater for every skin tone and it also claims to last 24hrs, I don’t know about any of you but I never have my makeup on that long so I wouldn’t be able to test that out but if any of you angels have then go you! Let me know the result ha!

It also has a weightless feel which I definitely agree that it does, there’s nothing worse than putting on a full coverage foundation and it feels like you’ve got a months worth of makeup on your face, with this is really does feel light and airy so it makes it more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time, it doesn’t cake up either which I really love about this foundation so you can do your full face and not worry about it going patchy or looking a hot mess throughout the day.

Now for the concealer. The lid is so nice on this concealer, its silver, black and pink, how cute is that! Love that colour combo and again it feels like its in a glass bottle with the black and white writing. Super classy. If you have tried and loved the Makeup Revolution concealer or the Tarte Shape Tape concealer then your really going to love this one too. The wand is exactly the same as those two concealers which I wish all concealers were like this if I’m honest, its also a full coverage concealer aswell and it goes so nicely with the foundation…you would think it would look cakey under the eyes with both products being full coverage, let me tell you, they work like a dream together and another bonus is that it comes in 25 shades.

It claims to cover blemishes, dark circles and uneven skin tone. Now I have dark circles which I inherited through genes so I sadly can never get rid of them but I’m always trying to find concealers that will tame them down a little so I don’t look like I’ve never slept a day in my life.

That’s why I really like this concealer, I chose a light shade to help brighten under my eyes so I got the shade Vanilla. It doesn’t crease under my eyes which is fab and it does brighten it up under there which I really need.

I would 100% purchase both products again as I’m really enjoying using them! If any of you guys have tried either of these let me know your thoughts, Id love to know your opinions =)

Thanks so much for reading guys and I’ll speak to you all soon ♥
