I’m not too sure if I’ve posted a brow routine/products I use before…If I have it would have been a long time ago and my routine would definitely have changed a bit.
I remember when eye brows were never a big thing. Nobody filled in their brows, it was all au natural! (I think that’s the expression ha) I never even plucked my eyebrows or used any products on them at all.
Now brows are all the rage, I love how they frame my face and especially because I have naturally light eyebrows, when their not done I feel really odd like something is missing…I know that sounds sad but I’m sure there’s quite a few of you girlies that can relate.
Okay, enough rambling! I wanted to share with you my 3 brow products that are a game changer for me, don’t get me wrong, I’m hardly a pro at doing my eyebrows but I like how these products work for me.
Benefit products are freakin amazing, I don’t think I have tried a product from them yet that I haven’t loved.
Which leads me to my first product… This is the Precisely, My Brow Pencil which retails for £20.50 I use mine in the shade 3 (you can purchase here).
Its an ultra-fine pencil which I use to draw a line underneath my eyebrow first. It claims to be a waterproof eyebrow pencil which to be honest I cannot vouch for as I’ve never jumped in the shower with it on, it’s also a twist up pencil so you never have to worry about sharpening it. It makes it super easy to add definition to your eyebrows especially if you want to add in more hair strokes like I do as sadly I have quite sparse brows.
What I really like also is that one end if the pencil and the other end if a spooly so you can flip the pencil and use the other side without having to look for one that shoved at the bottom of your makeup bag! (Hope that’s not just me!)
Its very easy to use aswell, you don’t have to push down hard for the product to work. This is a product I have repurchased with continue to! Its literally life guys.
After I’ve gone in with My Brow Pencil, I use the Gimmie Brow which retails for £21.50 also in shade 3 (you can purchase here).
This is a volumizing eyebrow gel which helps make your eyebrows look thicker and fuller. It has tiny microfibres in which cling to your skin and hair which creates the effect of naturally fuller brows which we can all appreciate. Its also smudge proof and water resistant which is amazing so you can rest assure your eyebrows wont be coming off until you take your makeup off at the end of the day!
It has a small mascara-like wand which makes application a whole lot easier and this way you can brush your brows into shape aswell whilst adding the product to your brows.
One I’ve used this, I normally go back in with My Brow Pencil and use the spooly to brush down the hairs, then I flip it back to the pencil and do light brush strokes in the same direction as my hair growth to fill in the top parts as that’s mainly where my sparseness is. Then I’ll flip the pencil back and brush the hairs back up and voila!
If I’m not going to be using the pencil I do switch it up and use the Ka-Brow Pomade which retails for £21.50 (you can purchase here).
Its a cream-gel formula which makes it super easy to apply. It glides on and once its on you have no worries about it budging for the rest of the day. I love how versatile this product is aswell, you can create a subtle eyebrow or go dramatic. Its a buildable product that doesn’t go clumpy. Its lid is pretty cool too as you can take the top off and flip it around, stick it back in and you have an eyebrow brush! Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better!
Just a little tip for the pomade, once you have been using it a few times, it can dry up a little bit due to the air getting to the product…DONT THROW IT… This is normal, all you have to do is fill up a cup of boiling water and pop it in there for a few seconds so it softens it up again and it will go back to looking and feeling brand new.
There ya go my lovelies, those are my go to products that I have repurchased several times and will continue to. I love how they make my eyebrows look and they do last for quite a while.
Have you tried any of these products? If not, what products do you use?
Thanks so much for reading angels and I’ll speak to you all very soon ♥
