Just before christmas, I had run out of my face creams and hadn’t purchased any to replace it, so in the meantime I was using my E45 body lotion just so I wasn’t going completely without.
My fiance brought me a Boots gift card with £100 on which was one of my stocking filler presents, I knew straight away I was going to be on the look out to purchase a new face cream but finding a good one isn’t always easy.
I saw this set in Boots and thought I would try the testers out and instantly I had made my mind up. The scent is gorgeous, it literally smells like fresh oranges so as you can imagine, putting this on your face and smelling that is a refreshing thing in itself!
The set retails for £32 and includes a Truth Serum, Truth C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme and the Truth Banana Bright Eye Creme.
Truth: Facial Serum 15ml:
- Brightens + Firms.
- All day hydration.
- Fights visible signs of aging.
- Oil-free forumla.
- Orange + green tea extracts.
I’m slightly obssessed with the scent of these products, the formula of the serum is nice and lightweight, it does go slightly tacky before it dries completely but it isnt an uncomfortable feeling. On its own, this serum comes in three different sizes. The 15ml retails for £22, 30ml retails for £42 and the 50ml retails for £59.
Truth: C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme 35ml.
- 24hr hydration.
- Targets fine lines + wrinkles.
- Renews youthful radiance.
- Improves makeup application.
- Ultra light-weight.
- Nourishes + conditions skin.
This is a moisturiser I will highly reccomend. The formula I first found to be very strange as it is a gel and its different to the type of creams I’m used to. If you run your finger over the top of it, it literally melts onto your skin giving you a decent amount for application. I use this every morning and every night before bed.
I love the glow it gives me and it shows underneath your foundation which I absolutley appreciate as I love that dewy skin look. It has three sources of vitamin C and Rose of winter and again, the scent, its amazing! This cream on its own is 50ml and retails for £36.
Truth: Banana Bright Eye Creme 7ml.
- Targets fine lines + wrinkles.
- Collagen boosted.
- Deeply hydrates.
- Revive + Illuminates.
- Colour correct.
I’ve always wanted to try the banana powder as I have heard amazing things about its brightening abilities, so when I saw that this had the words ‘banana bright’ on the pot I really wanted to try that out. This one I find smells the least like oranges but thats not the reason why I’m using it, well, not the only reason aha.
Again, its such a light-weight forumla which feels really nice when applying, especially as its going under and around your eye area, thats not somewhere you want to feel caked up with product. It helps to diminish dark circles and also helps colour correct under your eyes aswell. On its own this procduct is 15ml and retails for £30.
Although seperatley its not cheap, I feel like trying sets like these are always best if you haven’t tried the products before, I definitely want to keep using these after I have finished.
If you have tried these products before then let me know what your thoughts are on them, I’d love to know.
Thanks so much for reading guys and I’ll speak to you all very soon ♥
